dixon design + development p/l (incorporated in 1984) has contributed key design input and assisted with product development on many projects across a diverse range of industries -

Clients cover the spectrum from individual entrepreneurs to global corporations and government departments. Regardless of project scale, the usual aim is to efficiently create solutions that meet the brief and are commercially achievable.

For some projects dd+d provides a turn key design service, from concept development to through working prototype, testing, refinement, documentation and on to full scale production. In other projects dd+d dovetails with the client's own technical team to provide specialist design input as and where required.

IP (intellectual property) can be a key element in the design process and dd+d has extensive experience with patents and design registrations. Projects may entail creation of patentable features, others require design to be within the boundaries of existing patents. In either case, dd+d works with clients and their advisors to optimise IP.
